Year 2291. Cabaret dancer Zinnia Orsolo once sold the rights to her face to pay rent, and now a line of luxury androids wears it. Running from a debt syndicate, she hides aboard the Halcyon Belle, a liner cruising Saturn's rings, by taking the place of one of those androids in its shipping crate. She gets unboxed by Auden Castellane, the liner's heir. To keep her passage, she has to be a flawless machine: no blushing, no eating, no sleeping, no bleeding, no lying to her owner.
